| Katrina Kaif was born on July 16, 1984 and is one of seven siblings. Her father is Indian (from Kashmir, India) and her mother is of British origins. Surprisingly, Katrina was raised in Hawaii and Hong Kong. At age 14, she began modeling. Because of her continued interest in modeling, she was able to break into the Bollywood movie explosion with director Kaizad Gustad. Katrina Kaif's gorgeous looks lended themselves to her success. She admits to being very emotional, hates getting ready and doesn't really like make-up. Lucky for us, Katrina is naturally very beautiful.
Katrina hails from Hong Kong, the daughter of Kashmiri and British parents and a sibling of a family of eight. She was discovered by talent scouts when she was 14, and began a modelling career in London. In 2003, the film producer Kaizad Gustad saw her modelling work an decided to cast her in his movie Boom. After the success of Boom, Katrina moved to Mumbai and further pursued her modelling career. While she had a slow start as an actress because she did not speak Hindi, she has broken through in many movies such as Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and Race. Today, Katrina Kaif continues to be a successful actress and model featuring in many films and advertisements throughout the nation of India. |
